SRM Holdings is the umbrella under which our education and healthcare institutions operate. What began as a single engineering college has grown into a group that teaches students and cares for patients across hospitals in and around Chennai.

Our story

Our journey began in 1985 with the founding of SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, near Chennai, established by our founder and Chancellor, Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar.

The beginning
SRM Engineering College is founded in Kattankulathur.
2002
A new chapter
The institution is granted deemed university status.
2005
From classrooms to clinics
A teaching hospital opens alongside the medical college.
